Introduction：
 
“Mini Radio Plays” comes with a MP3 CD and focuses on the training of listening comprehension for learners on the intermediate level.

Each play is an independent story on a topic related to the society and living in Taiwan. There are topics for discussion at the end of each play.

12 plays are arranged in a sequence of growing length and difficulty level. Each unit has the introduction to the characters, script, discussion, vocabulary items, key sentences, sentence patterns, and exercise.

There is only Chinese text and no translation, to ensure exclusive use of the Chinese language in comprehension practice.

The complete set consists of three textbooks with teacher’s manual, workbook and CD. After completing this set, learners can improve the skills of listening and speaking, get more day-to-day vocabulary and Chinese phrases.
 
Author Introduction：
 
National Taiwan Normal University Mandarin Training Center was founded in 1956 and is a government-recognized center for teaching Chinese as a foreign language and an extension program of the National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU). Since that time, it has grown to become the largest and best known institution in the Republic of China dedicated to the teaching of Chinese culture and Chinese as a second language. All levels of standard and Classical Chinese as well as Chinese culture are taught here.
