The book offers lot of space to practice each character. Elementary Practice of Chinese Handwriting shows characters with their readings in pinyin and translation into English. Since this book is mainly targeted to elementary students, it includes explanations of how to properly write in Chinese.  

Elementary Practice of Chinese Handwriting does not include explanations about grammar, because it is mainly focused on the students to being able to write using Chinese characters.
