Manners Matter - A Practical Guide to Socializing with Chinese is a book with which to learn the correct manners of communication and behavior while being in China. The book is divided in 2 different sections, the first one is called speaking with manners and the second one acting with manners. In each section, authors have selected different scenarios in which foreign people usually make mistake, because they do not know the proper manners of China, which sometimes lead to cultural sock. These case include: how to properly write and email, how to congratulate people in different situations, how to make excuses etc. 

In each section here are explanations in English and Chinese with dialogues contextualizing each case. These conversations are written en Chinese, pinyin and English. This book stands out for the fact that sentences are graded with stars, depending on how polite they might be. Sentences with a dark circle mean that we must be careful while using them.
