A Dream of Red Mansions - Abridged Chinese Classic Series

A dream of Red Mansions is one of the four great novels of ancient China. It is considered a masterpiece of Chinese literature. 

The story is focused in Chinese noble families and the romance between 3 main characters: Jia Baoyu, Lin Daiyu, and Xue Baochai. This book is a short version of the original novel and contains 20 stories with approximately 3000 characters. Each of the narrations uses the characters of HSK 5 exam, so this reading is a great method to practice for the exam. 

Each of the stories contains an introduction written in English to make easier the whole understanding of the text. 

All stories contain pinyin. 

The book also includes a card to hide pinyin, so that readers have to read only Chinese characters.
