Encounters is communicative method which includes many exercises, activities and cultural notes. The book contains a code to get access to the videos recorded in China which match each lesson. By using this method, students will be able to practice the language and at the same time, learn new facts about Chinese culture. All videos have been recorded in different locations of China such as  Shanghay, Qinghai lake or Yangshuo. 

With the goal of improving communicative capacities, the book is printed in full color and it must be complemented with the film that is included to make the study time much more dynamic.
