Third edition of elementary level 1 of the Boya Chinese series.

This book is especially recommended for intensive courses or false beginners as the student will be able to progress very quickly with it.

Unlike other textbooks, the dialogues of each lesson written in Chinese characters are separated from their pinyin versions (phonetic transcription), which is extremely positive so that you don't get used to looking only at the latter.

The grammatical explanations, the presentation of new words, as well as all the instructions for the exercises, are in English. Translations of the English texts can also be found at the end of the book.
