Contemporary Chinese - Textbook 3 (Revised edition)

Edición revisada del tercer volumen de Contemporary Chinese, una colección destinada a estudiantes de nivel inicial. Esta serie busca reforzar la comprensión auditiva, oral, escrita y lectora con el objetivo de que los estudiantes puedan expresarse en chino y obtener una base sólida en estas cuatro competencias. 

Para esta edición revisada, se han añadido nuevos ejercicios, se han actualizado los temas de cada una de las unidades y se han corregido errores con el objetivo de que el uso de este libro en clase sea más dinámico y efectivo. 

Este tercer volumen se divide en 12 unidades en las que se marcan una serie de objetivos que el estudiante deberá completar: Presentarse, dar direcciones, hablar sobre un tema concreto etc. Todas las lecciones incluyen tablas con vocabulario y expresiones útiles así como su respectiva traducción y transcripción en pinyin.

1. This edition retains many features from the first edition, including: a concise structure with practical language; a focus on conversation, phonetics and characters at the elementary level; an emphasis on well-structured grammar and the unique features of Chinese characters; a vocabulary based teaching method；2. In Volume 1 of this edition, ”lesson” is changed into ”unit”, with each unit including three lessons; this allows a clearer structure and more concise texts. 3. Scaffolding instruction and exercises were added to keep in line with the actual teaching process; while individual activities and supplementary materials are added to fully embody our process-oriented, task-based and interactive teaching concept. 4. We have corrected some mistakes of the first edition and updated some of the texts and cultural notes.
